WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes make things smell the way they do. Most plants in nature have their own terpene profile that we come to know as their unique aromas. Terpenes are a transient molecule that trigger sensory receptors mainly in the brain which in turn allow things to work more effectively and efficiently.

For example …… plants that are ‘minty’ in flavour can help regulate your metabolism, and suppress hunger, whereas plants that are ‘citrusy’ can elevate your mood whilst having a calming effect as they tap into our sensory system.

Our own Terpene profile was created as we realised that most extracts being used for CBD Brands were processed in a way that meant the delicate terpene molecules were being destroyed and therefore not even present in the finished products.

There are 19 individual terpenes that we have balanced to create our final profile. We believe being one of the first CBD brands in the UK to do this, it has given our customers confidence to use our oils without having to take stronger and more expensive products to get the same dose.
